Alright, we get it, you don’t want to necessarily be a backpacker lugging around your pack from cafe to cafe – but you definitely want to travel light.

Take it from the women at SuperShe who literally live a life out of a suitcase, traveling from Dominican Republic to New York to Hawaii to Tokyo… We’re packing for all weather conditions, all styles, and have to be ready for whatever adventure is about to take us by surprise!

First off – luggage.

Take it from founder of SuperShe, Kristina, and invest in a Rimowa travel bag. Her bag has lasted 15 years…yes, 15 years! “A Russian tank could run over this bag and your laptop is going to be fine.” The women at SuperShe choose quality over quantity, why buy a bag with zippers that will break and deform after one year of travel when you can make an investment in a bag that could last you a lifetime? Pick up what we’re putting down?

#1. Rimowa Travel Bag

Let’s start with what a minimalist is. Minimalism doesn’t mean getting rid of everything you own to leave you with nothing. It’s about prioritizing, consolidating, and hanging onto the things you love & need to fit your lifestyle. Less truly is more mentality.

#2. The 20 Under 20 Rule

If you’re traveling & you need something that is under $20 dollars and you can get it anywhere in under 20-minutes, don’t pack it! For example, an umbrella. Really? Don’t pack an umbrella.

#3 Love It

This one’s easy, if you don’t LOVE every single thing in your suitcase, don’t pack it. Pack your favorite jeans, favorite sweater, favorite hat – don’t settle for your second best. Be your best.

#4 Multi-usage

What can you pack that can be used for a variety of purposes? Do you have an all-in-one conditioner and shampoo, that may serve as a body wash? For example, Dr. Bronner’s all in one. Maybe pajama-wear that can be doubled up as athletic wear.

#5 Pack in 2’s and 3’s

Pack 2 or 3 t-shirts, 2 or 3 dresses, 2 or 3 bikinis so that when you’re out and about on your travels you can always have one pair while the other is being washed or dried. That way you’re never “short” on anything.
