Fiber is an extremely important part of your diet. They meant it when they said, “Eat your vegetables.” The good news is, all vegetables contain fiber, some more than others and although we love fiber there’s a few vegetables to look out for. The main vegetables to avoid are starchy veggies like beets and potatoes.

So what is fiber?
Fiber expands in your stomach making you feel full. You might notice this feeling after eating an apple or a handful of carrots. Fiber passes through your body acting as a sponge, making its way through your intestinal track and essentially scrubs out your insides taking away harmful toxins and cleaning up! This way, your body can function smoothly while absorbing the nutrients it needs.
